Advanced Materials Lab
The Gall to Shape the Future

Description: The Erskine J. Love Manufactoring Building on the Georgia Tech Campus in Atlanta houses our research team. We focus our creative spirit toward research in Shape Memory materials and associated applications. Our lab characterizes mechanical, electrical, thermal, environmental and bio-medical properties of various Shape Memory Polymers, Shape Memory Foams and Shape Memory Alloys. Applications in the implantable bio-medical devices realm, the aerospace industry and the defense industry, and a search for a deeper understanding of basic scientific principles, drive our research.
